I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not exactly a fashionista. Most of my wardrobe consists of basics and staples. As a matter of fact, you could probably pair any top with any bottom in my closet and have yourself an outfit. I personally might describe my style as “lacking”, but for the sake of my new title as Lifestyle Blogger I will call it “minimalistic” and “easy”.

When I do invest in something for my closet, I have two general rules:  1. If it ever requires ironing, I’ll pass, and 2. You can keep your Chanel gown, but I will lay down on the tracks for her bag and shoes!

But, don’t worry, I’m not going to waste your time posting about all my Jimmy Choo fantasies. Instead, I’ll share my current fashion finds and old favorite go-to’s (I’m a total creature of habit and have a lot of go-to’s).

Although I can’t say my wardrobe is a couture lovers dream, I do love classic, well made pieces and simple, functional design. Believe me, if I’m going to talk about clothing at all, it’s because I really believe it’s a great find and worth sharing.

So, without further ado, here are my June Fashion Picks:

1. Paige Denim Ankle Jeans. New England evenings can still be pretty cool this time of year, especially if you are near the water, so jeans are still a constant in my wardrobe. I’m in love with this particular pair right now and have been wearing them almost daily (no judging). If you haven’t tried Paige Denim yet, I suggest you do. They’re on the pricey side but there’s a lot to be said for a beautiful pair a jeans you can live in! They are also lightweight for summer, and cut just above the ankle so they pair perfectly with booties and strappy sandals. Speaking of which…
2. Hinge “Drea” Peep Toe Leather Sandals.   Hinge hit a home run with this great summer date night shoe. The chunky (what a dumb term) heel makes them comfy and easy to walk in. Just a little side note: even though I love a gorgeous pair of shoes, if they aren’t 100% comfortable, I’m not buying them. There is nothing worse than the sight of a girl desperately seeking refuge from her own shoes because they have her feeling like she’s been stepping on broken glass all night. Not being comfortable is not an option for me, but these little beauties pass the test.
3. Flowy Tanks From Target. As my 14 year old daughter says, “Target gets me”. Seriously, they can do no wrong, and their selection of flowy tanks is reason enough to drive straight there right now. I swear you will only leave with a flowy tank or two, not a basketful of awesomeness that you didn’t even know you needed.
4. Ted Baker One-Piece Swimsuit.  Swimsuits can be kinda tricky for me due to my not being 23 years old, and my generously allowing four humans to use my tiny body as a portal into this world. But, I may have found the answer in these beautifully designed, figure flattering, one-piece gifts from the swim gods. Like a good pair of jeans, I don’t mind investing in swimwear, because a well made swimsuit you are comfortable in is worth its weight in gold!
5. Lululemon Wunder Under Crop (Hi-Rise). I have to admit that I probably wear yoga pants most days every day of the week. But just for the record, I actually do yoga on a few of those days. So, if you’re like me, and love yourself some “fancy sweatpants”, you’ll want to add this pair to your collection! They come up nice and high and hold it all in. Is it just me, or is this not the best design ever? For some odd reason I love “grandpa-high” pants. Is that weird? Actually, forget I just said all that and go check these babies out!
