Summer is finally here and I’m so excited to share this list of sunshine essentials.

Whether you’re headed to the beach, planning a trip with the family, or just parking it in the backyard, I’ve got you covered!

1. Sea Bags

   

   This Portland, ME based company uses old sails to hand-make these adorable bags. I’m a sucker for anything nautical themed, and love how the wear of the sails make each piece unique!

2. Round Beach Blankets

   

   This “Roundie” was a gift from my sweet friend Shari and is the perfect addition to my growing circular blanket collection. Not only are they adorable, I’ve heard that sand won’t stick to them, so I’m dying to take one to the beach!

3. Picnic Basket

   

   Of course you could always throw some food in a cooler, but there is just something so charming about an old fashioned picnic basket. We received this one as a wedding gift and it’s almost too beautiful to use! Check out all the different types and styles from Picnic Time.

4. One-Piece Bathing Suits from Target

   

   There is nothing better than a flattering, comfortable bathing suit! Can I get an “Amen”? When I was in my twenties I didn’t think the day would come when I would be slipping into a one-piece, but my 38 year old four-baby-making-body loves them! Right now Target is killing it with their bathing suit selection… especially this style, which I have in three colors!

5. Yosi Samra Flip Flops

   

   I wrote about these last summer and they are still making my summer must have list. People rave about their flats (which I intend on trying), but I’ve been hooked on their flip flops for years.

6. Outlet Store Sunglasses

   

   I go through a lot of sunglasses every year, so lately I’ve been popping into outlet stores like Nordstrom Rack for more affordable versions of my favorite shades. That way when something happens to them, it doesn’t hurt quite as much.

7. Supergoop!

   

   If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I LOVE Supergoop! Their commitment to safe and effective skincare has helped them dominate the market. For years I had to order their products online, but now I see them everywhere from Sephora to Nordstrom. Great product. Great company!

8. Cool Down After Sun Aloe Lotion

   

   I just recently came across Sun Bum products and so far I’m loving this after sun aloe lotion. It’s so soothing, smells great, and promises to prolong your tan. Yes, yes, and yes!

9. Pool Floaties!!!

   

   I am floatie obsessed!! If it’s big, colorful, and floats, I need it. Thank you Amazon for making it way to easy for me too indulge in my strange addiction!

10. Scout Bags

    

    I adore Scout bags of every kind! I especially love them for summer because they’re so durable and can get wet… perfect for the beach or pool. This one was a gift from my girlfriends and has been my go-to travel makeup bag for the last year!
