The Light Foundation

Most people think of my husband Matt as a football player, but his true passion has always been hunting and fishing. In 2001 he created the Light Foundation as a way to use his platform as an NFL player to serve others and share his love of the outdoors with young people.   

Since then, the Light Foundation has served thousands of young people from around the country through unique outdoor programs designed to teach kids to be R.E.A.L. – Responsible, Ethical, Accountable, Leaders.

The Light Foundation means the world to our family and has become a way to show our children the importance of serving their community. Our hope is that someday they, along with all the children we work with, will become leaders and carry on a legacy of giving.
